Lindbergh Hotels & Resorts: the hotels of the group for holidays in Italy
Our story
Lindbergh Hotels & Resorts is the ultimate expression of the values on which the entire entrepreneurial spirit of its founder, Cavaliere del Lavoro Nardo Filippetti, is based.
The story of his life is intertwined with the history of the Italian tourism industry: from the pioneering phase, born out of the economic boom, to the explosion of outbound tourism as a mass phenomenon, up to the current great revival of hotel expansion in Italy.
It is the story of a self-made man who is proud to be from Pesaro and Italian.
Having led Eden Viaggi to become the second largest tour operator in Italy with a turnover of more than €400 million, sending 400,000 people travelling every year, a move in 2018 surprised the entire Italian tourism sector. Filippetti accepted T.I.P.'s (Tamburi Investment Partners) offer to acquire Eden Viaggi and gave the Eden Hotels group a new look by creating the Lindbergh Hotels & Resorts brand.
The group is composed of properties with four and five stars and chose as its emblem the aviation pioneer, Charles Lindbergh, as he symbolises movement, exploration, research and the state-of-the-art.
The hotels of the group are locations for experiences where travel is a discovery of all the customs and traditions of the regions to which they belong, amidst panoramic views, cultural synergies, quality service and details made in Italy.
A contemporary style of reception and hospitality.
Each Lindbergh Hotel stands for tailor-made service, Italian character and commitment to the guests.
Each property is distinguished by a strong, autonomous identity to enhance its individuality.
Each hotel is part of a symbiotic dialogue with the region.
From the attention to detail to the excellence in food and wine on offer, from tailor-made services to an attentive staff, everything is conceived as a microcosm worth experiencing.
As of today, these are 4- and 5-star hotels belonging to the Lindbergh Hotels & Resorts group. The 5* Excelsior SPA & Lido Boutique Hotel and the 4* Nautilus Family Hotel in Pesaro, Le Marche; La Meridiana Urban Hotel in Perugia, in Umbria; the 5*L Grand Hotel San Pietro in Taormina, the Sikania Resort & SPA in Marina di Butera, the Modica Beach Resort in Marina di Modica, Sicily, and the Cala della Torre Resort in Siniscola, Sardinia.
The properties are in turn divided into 3 collections.
The Boutique Collection, 5-star hotels catering to those who love beauty and design, timeless icons, as well as rediscovered favourites.
The Urban Collection, for those seeking to travel amongst nature, art and wellness as well as those who are on business trips. Just a few steps from the metropolitan centres. Welcoming, dynamic and state-of-the-art developments.
Finally, the Resort Collection, properties for those who dream of feeling at home. Those who prefer informal, open and bright spaces to satisfy their longing for a holiday with the entire family.
In 2023, there will be 9 properties in the group; next spring, in fact, 2 new openings will enliven Lindbergh Hotels & Resorts' schedule of services and holiday opportunities:
Homie, in the centre of Marina di Rimini, a pilot project and a new brand for the group that will become a collection in its own right; The Cruiser, a 4-star S city hotel in Pesaro, with a strong b-leisure DNA.
